Dear Friends:
As the Chairwoman of the U.S.-China Business Summit, it is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Summit on January 3-5, 2010. I extend warm wishes for a productive and enjoyable event.
I salute the Summit organizer, Smart Business Services, Inc. and the Planning Committee for their efforts in creating such a conference. I applaud the inclusion of the U.S. Department of Commerce Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA), the various Chambers of Commerce from across the states, including China General Chamber of Commerce, China National Development and Reform Commission, the National Minority Supplier Development Council, and businesses from across the nations.
I commend all the partners and organizations for making this Summit a reality, where men and women of all professions and social backgrounds will be provided with leadership, networking and learning opportunities. I am confident all of the attendees will benefit through their participation in the educational workshops and discussions led by individuals whom have achieved phenomenal success in various walks of life.
For those not from Las Vegas, while you are here, please take full advantage of some of what southern Nevada has to offer. From picturesque Red Rock Canyon and Lake Mead National Recreation Area to our many galleries, exhibits and famous entertainment and restaurants, there are wide ranging activities that will be sure to satisfy everyone.
Again, welcome to the U.S.-China Business Summit. I look forward in updating you with more specific seminars and opportunities as we get closer to the Summit. If I can be of assistance to any of you, do not hesitate to contact me.
